I basically just got fired from my temp job.

I’ve been there since October, and it was meant to be a 6 week thing that has stretched out for months. I’ve gotten two stellar reviews—I was working at 180% productivity in December and January, on average—and had been told I could stay as long as I wanted. We had a team meeting this morning and not a word was said. My immediate boss liked me and has offered to write reccomendations if I found a permanent job. When I left, as far as I knew all was well.

The temp agency just called and said she had called and said the situation had changed and the temps were no longer needed. I’m unclear if that meant just me or all four of us who were left who had started together. One of the girls has been out sick with fucking pneumonia all week, that would be extra shit for her.

I just…what the fuck? I hated that job, but I was good at it and I could use the income.
