1. I’ve remembered that I hated that job, violently hated it! I don’t have to do it anymore! This is awesome.

2. I bought a half dozen laser pointers on ebay and they are going to be turned into steampunk sonic screwdrivers. Well. Steampunk may be overstating things. They are going to be great.

3. I realized I have about 3 times as much stuff as I actually have listed on etsy, so I’m going to spend the next couple of days photographing and listing new jewelry and awesomeness (lots of cufflinks and earrings!), and making sonics. While not strictly a job, I love doing these things and they sometimes give me money.

In an ideal life, I would be part of a neuroscience research lab one day a week, teach university-level classes about autism one day, make prosthetic eyes a third day, and then spend the weekend at craft shows selling jewelry and accessories. And I’d spend my free days learning new languages and arts and making the jewelry. And maybe I’d also foster lots of kittens and babies. Someone please grant me this life.
